Alan Livesey Memorial Trophy raises money in memory of a friend

by Editor

Friends and loved ones of a keen bowler took to the green to remember his life and raise money for an important cause.

The Alan Livesey Memorial Trophy was organised by Golborne Parkside Bowling Section, where Alan was a member before he passed away last year.

The weather was fine for the event, which was attended by current members as well as Alan’s wide Murial, and other members of his family.

Alan was a long time friend to many and a greatly valued member of Golborne Parkside Bowling Section, and the event was a fitting way to honour his memory. In addition, more than £220 was raised to support the Mental Health Charity, Mind.
