If you have a pre-schooler, or a child currently in Year 4, 5 or 6 at primary school, you might well be thinking about their options when it comes to which local primary or high school to choose.
With the deadline for applications to start in Year 7 next September coming up on October 31, all our local secondaries will be holding Open Days in the coming weeks to help you make up your mind which setting is right for your child. This year, for the first time in two years, they plan for these to take place ‘in person’.
Meanwhile, an increasing number of local primaries are also holding events to invite prospective parents to look aound their school, too. It’s a chance to get a real feel of the school, its teachers and what it can offer your child.
You have longer to make your decision about primary schools, as the deadline for applications is not until 15 January 2022.
