Congratulations to Little Angels Day Nursery on Talbot Street, Golborne, which has just passed it’s latest Ofsted inspection with flying colours.
The nursery was graded Good in all areas, retaining its overall Good judgement.
Inspectors described Little Angels as “homely and welcoming” and said that children arrive “excited to start their day” with caring staff who “cuddle and comfort them when they need reassurance”.
There was praise for the good behaviour of children at the provision, which inspectors said was because staff clearly help demonstrate how children should behave, leading by example, communicating well and having high expectations of every child. They teach children important skills such as learning to take turns, being patient and listening to each other. And because staff listen to the children, giving them plenty of time to think and respond, inspectors said the nursery was helping children “develop mutual respect for others”.
And Inspectors said that Little Angels Day Nursery was helping prepare the children at the nursery for their next steps, including school. Children are helped to develop their confidence, learn good communication and language skills, and that “carefully planned” activities mean they are fully engaged in what they are doing and learning.
Meanwhile, the parents who spoke to Ofsted’s inspectors, who visited Little Angels Day Nursery in May, were “extemely compimentary” about the nursery, speaking “very highly of staff” who “go above and beyond to support their child”.
What a lovely report, well done Little Angels!
