Choir’s fundraising hits the right note

by Editor

Well done to Lowton, Golborne and Newton Community Choir, who’ve just handed over a whopping £1,200 after fundraising for our local hospice.

The harmonious singers of the the community choir have raised the impressive amount for Wigan and Leigh Hospice after nominating it as their charity of the year.

The Choir has been a long term supporter of the hospice, and their generous donation will do towards the amazing work that it does supporting patients with life limiting illnesses and their families locally.

Choir member Pauline Payne, who is also a hospice trustee, handed over the cheque to Leah Mason, the Fundraising and Lottery Administrator for Wigan and Leigh Hospice – pictured above.
