The annual carol service at Golborne and Lowton Methodist Church on Heath St, Golborne, featured The Lowton, Golborne and Newton Choir singing modern Christmas carols, ending with 0 Holy Night.

At the service, Jo Carby, Chief Executive of the hospice, spoke about the work of the hospice and the challenges it has faced both during and since the pandemic.

Readings were also given by Wigan Rotary Club; the Scout Association; pupils from Golborne High School; Rev Mark Harwood and Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.

A big thank you and well done to all involved!
