Do you have old photos of Lowton that could help bring back memories from childhood for residents living in an extra care scheme?
Elmridge Court, on Robson Way, Lowton, is hoping to create a new feature wall in its dining room with lots of photographs of the town through the ages, as well as interesting facts about local history.
Ideally, the images would be of local landmarks or events that the residents – most of whom have lived in Lowton for a long time – would recognise and remember.
Jennifer Carter, Scheme Manager at Elmridge Court, explained: “We would like to make our dining room wall a feature wall with a brief history of Lowton. We’d love some eye catching images, especially as we have residents with disabilities and dementia.”
Can you help?
