Big clue reveals exciting new future for Golborne’s old Lidl store…

by Editor

It looks like the former Lidl store on Bridge street is set for a new lease of life – as a B&M Bargains!

A public notice posted up on a lamp post at the entrance to the now empty store on High Street, Golborne, confirms that the bargain chain has submitted a planning permission application to put up new signage on the site – strongly suggesting that it will become a B&M store very soon.

Lowton & Golborne News has been in contact with B&M to ask for more details of their plans, including how many jobs will be created – once we have confirmation we will share here on the site.

So, what do you think?

Are you pleased to see a B&M opening in Golborne?
