It’s that time of year again – time to dig out the witches costumes and fill those cauldrons with lollies… Halloween is upon us again!
So, whether you are young or old, here are a few ways to mark All Hallows’ Eve in Lowton and Golborne…
Grange Farm, Lowton
This year, Grange Farm is going all out with its spooktacular Pumpkin Fest!
As well as the popular pumpkin picking there’ll be a haunted barn for older children. You can come along and carve your picked pumpkin at the farm and enjoy family fun including face painting and fair rides. There will also be delicious refreshments available and the chance to feed the animals on Grange Farm, too.
Pumpkin picking starts from 9 October, pumpkin carving from the 15 October. It may get muddy so you’re advised to bring your wellies! Pumpkins are priced between £2 – £12, depending on size.
Entrance fee is priced per family (up to five) and is £5.98 – please pre-book online.
Kenyon Hall Farm, Croft
Go pumpkin picking at Kenyon Hall Farm and have your choice of more than 15,000 specimens!
Pre-booking is essential and some dates are already sold out.
Tickets are £2 per person for adults and children; infants under 18 months go free. You can choose to take your pumpkins home, or carve them at the farm.
