Fantastic news for families – you can now enjoy strawberry picking at Kenyon Hall Farm, where these favourite fruits are almost ripe.
The farm, off Winwick Link Road inbetween Lowton & Newton-Le-Willows has been open throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, providing local people with a chance to pick up fresh produce and other essentials from their farm shop seven days a week, 9am – 5pm.
They completely re-configured their farm shop, closing their cafe and doubling the floor space, creating lots of space for social distancing and safe shopping. They sell everything you would expect from a farm shop including all your essentials – fresh fruit, veg, milk, eggs, butter, bread and meat as well as a large range of dried, frozen and tinned goods and alcohol. They are also selling homemade cakes and quiches.
Shopping at Kenyon Hall Fam is also a great way to support local businesses. As well as the farm itself, you’ll be able to support local farms and producers whose products are on sale at the shop, including some from right here in Lowton and Golborne, such as What the Fudge and Carringtons Coffee who actually roast their coffee at the farm.
And, if you’re into your gardening or want to get growing for the first time during lockdown, Kenyon Hall Farm even have a plant centre which has a great range of ‘grow your own’ fruit and veg for anyone wanting to live more sustainably.
