New men’s mental health group urges: Talk About it Mate

by Editor Lowton and Golborne News

A new group to support men with their mental wellbeing starts this month – and local men in Lowton or Golborne are invited to join.

The friendly and non-judgemental ‘Talk About It Mate’ group will meet every Tuesday from 7-8.30pm at Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre. It’s a chance to share your expriences, make new friends, have a laugh and support each other.

Talk About It Mate is run by Bridging The Gap, a mental health support organisation which offers various support for anyone struggling with their mental wellbeing, from 12 week programmes to one-to-one sessions.

You can book your place in advance online (but pre-booking is not neccessary).
