If you love the thought of having your own private swimming pool, then you’ll love Swim at 55, which is opening in Golborne this September.
Swim at 55 is a luxurious private pool which can be hired by the hour so that you can enjoy a swim in total privacy.
The indoor heated pool is available for the exclusive use of groups up to eight. It’s up to you how you use it – just for fun, to learn to swim, for sports therapy or even a children’s party.
About the Swim at 55 pool
The luxurious 8 x 4m pool is 1.2m deep. It is kept crystal clear and invitingly warm, and comes with four private changing cubicles, a wetroom with three hot showers, additional private shower and a vanity area with hairdryers.
The pool even has its own projector and screen with Bluetooth music speakers. So you can lie back and float along watching a movie, or practice your front crawl accompanied by your favourite playlist.
The pool is part of a private home on Park Road, Golborne, and is being opened for private use for the first time from September 7, 2021. It’s fully insured and strict cleaning processes ensure you’ll always find it in gleaming condition. With a guarantee of exclusive use, you’ll never have to share a pool or a changing room with a total stranger again!
And with dedicated on-site car parking and fantastic facilities at the pool, it’s as convenient as it is exclusive.
What can the pool be used for?
Already, Swim at 55 is proving popular with people wanting the convenience of a private pool. It’s a great place to hold private swimming lessons or physiotherapy and sports injury rehabilitation sessions. Great for anyone who feels more comfortably with total privacy, such as nervous swimmers.
It’s also a lovely way for families to spend time together having fun and being active. It can also be used by groups of friends who want to meet up and do something a little different together. And some of those keen to try out the pool have been families of children with disabilities such as autism – for whom a visit to a public pool can be a difficult experience.
And with spotless, private changing facilities and the water at an inviting 31-32 degrees (a good 2-4 degrees higher than a public pool), it makes for a totally stress-free way to enjoy swimming.
How much does swimming at Swim at 55 cost?
Prices depend on the number of people in your party, and on whether you sign up to be a member. If you want to swim alone, it’ll cost from just £25 per hour. But you can enjoy the pool in a group of six for £42 and spread the cost – it works out at only £7 per person.
You could also hire the pool for a children’s party, with up to 8 children, for just £90 for two hours.
The pool is open seven days a week with the first session available from 7am, and last session at 9pm.
