Here’s how YOU can help save Golborne Parkside Club

by gemmamelling

A meeting takes place on Friday, 1 November, for anyone interested in the future of Golborne Parkside Sports and Community Club.

The club is currently facing a huge challenge to stay open thanks to historical financial difficulties.

With a new Board now in place, everyone involved in the club is putting every effort into securing its future – both as a place where local sports teams can play each week but also as a venue for community events and venue hire for weddings, birthdays, funerals and other occasions.

The new Board of Golborne Parkside are really keen to show you what changes have already been made – so are inviting the community to come along to find out up to a date information, ask questions, share ideas and look at the future of the club.

So, whatever you think you know about Golborne Parkside – be prepared to change your mind! The club is now actively improving with new people at the helm and is really keen to explore new and exciting opportunities to grow and develop.

And that’s where YOU come in!

Come down to the meeting on Friday, 1 November from 7-8.30pm, speak to the new Board, make suggestions, see how you can get involved and what support the club needs.

And even if the meeting doesn’t appeal to you then it’s also worth knowing that the bar WILL be open, with a whole new range of ales on sale!

Tasting is believing and the rumour is that the ale at Parkside has improved with a whole new cellar system…

Come down and find out for yourself!
