Golborne Hockey Club which meets weekly at Golborne Sports and Social Club is always on the lookout for new members.
The club is an inclusive and expanding one, with England Hockey accreditation. It’s a great chance for people in Lowton and Golborne to get involved with the sport – whether they’ve played before or are a complete beginner interested to try hockey for the first time.
The club’s Senior players train on a Tuesday night from 7-9pm while the Juniors train on Sundays from 10am-11am. Membership is £55 annually, with £7 match costs, which includes training.

Your first session with Golborne Hockey Club is completely free. After that, it’s just £1 per week, or £15 for the whole year.
Bring trainers and shinpads if you have them, you can borrow hockey sticks from the club.
