Free baby and child first aid courses

If you’re a parent, grandparent or carer of young children – would you know what to do in an emergency, such as if a child started choking?

If not, why not sign up to some free first aid sessions run by Lowton mum Francesca Kaye Lowe this September?

At the Save a Baby’s life and Save a Child’s life sessions, you’ll learn how to safely perform infant CPR, how to identify and deal with choking and what to do to help a child who is drowning. The skills only take two hours to learn, the sessions are completely free (and you can even bring your own children) – and what you learn might one day save a life.

The sessions have been developed by Francesca, after her own scary experiences with her baby son Thomas, who was helped by firefighters after he stopped breathing whilst out in the car. She vowed then to make first aid courses more available to all parents and carers, so that they would know what to do in that same terrifying situation.

The sessions will take place in venues in both Lowton and Golborne and last two hours. Places are limited, so booking is essential.
