East Lancs Road link closed for six weeks

If you’re travelling around Lowton over the next few weeks, be aware that a road closure beginning on Monday, 26 July, will impact on how you cross the East Lancs for the next six weeks.

Stone Cross Lane South (by Grange Farm) will be closed at the point where it meets the A580, in order for works to be carried out by Cadent Gas.

It means there’s no access to the East Lancs down this road, and no exit from the A580 onto the road either.

If you are visiting Grange Farm, you’ll have to access via the Newton Road side.

This road closure may cause some congestion in the area, so make sure you plan your journeys accordingly and leave a little extra time!
