St Helens College is set to host its first Virtual Open Event of the academic year on Wednesday, 21 October, to help inform young people in St Helens, Wigan, Warrington and surrounding areas, of the opportunities available to them, as they prepare for their next steps after school.
Although visitors cannot physically be welcomed on to their campuses at the moment due to COVID-19, they want to make sure young people do not miss out on discovering all that they have to offer.
During the virtual event, participants will be able to explore St Helens College’s exciting range of vocational courses and apprenticeships, and will also have the opportunity to join a live ‘All About Apprenticeships’ session held at 5.30pm on 21 October via Zoom.
Featured additional information includes subject specific videos, course content, snapshots of facilities, student successes, career insight, free bus travel and financial support options available to students.
Located across two campuses, Town Centre Campus and STEM Centre Campus, St Helens College provides the latest technology and study spaces, and is home to many realistic working environments including state-of-the-art recording studios and editing suites, simulated manufacturing environments, construction built environments, commercial hair and beauty salons and an onsite Starbucks!
The School Leavers’ Virtual Open Event is a great way to experience St Helens College and to discover why it is such a great place to study.
