Adult learning opportunities

by Editor

If you’re unemployed and want to kick-start your career, why not consider an adult education course?

Maybe you’ve no formal qualifications and aren’t sure where to start. Or, it could be that you’re hoping to take the next step in your career but can’t commit to full time education.

If you’re aged over 19, Wigan Council’s part-time adult education courses could be for you. They’re flexible and have been designed so you can gain entry-level qualifications that fit around your commitments.

The courses are taught in a community venue, rather than a classroom, and the imetable works around school hours.

Choose from remote or face-to-face learning for some of the adult education courses.

All courses are taught by experienced, supportive tutors who understand the challenges around adult education. You can train in teaching, construction, digital skills and much more from just two hours attendance per week.

Many of the courses start from 13 September 2021, with some beginning in January 2022.

How can I find out more?
